Welcome to Red String
Thank you for visiting our website and welcome to Red String.
Red String Foundation was incorporated December 22, 2019 and approved as a new nonprofit public benefit corporation established under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code on May 6, 2020. The foundation's name is taken from the long long-held belief that a red string connects us to those we are destined to meet, protecting us from harm, guiding us to our purpose, and empowering us to be our best. It is this belief that is at the heart of Red String.
We believe that every life deserves to be happy and meaningful; that people can improve their own lives when provided with the necessary skills, knowledge, support, and access to resources; and that only together is anything possible.
Through our Focus Programs, we are working to help address issues in Children and Youth Education, Communities, and Senior Care. To accomplish this, we are creating powerful new partnerships with Industry and charities that will open new opportunities to make a positive difference in the communities, charities, and livelihoods that we invest in. Please read about our Programs and Grants.
We hope you consider becoming part of Red String's story and let us become part of yours. Join Us today.
We conduct three grant cycles annually (2Q, 3Q, and 4Q).

Follow Our Story:
The yarn we shall weave
begins with a thread,
the ending of which
has yet to be said,
and when it will,
I have not a clue,
but I'm not scared
now that you're with me,
and I'm with you.
The end of 2022 is quickly approaching and our team has been busy with our last set of grants this year. As part of our Jeff Adachi Legacy Project (JALP), we welcome JCYC, a community organization dedicated to serving the children, youth and families living in the San Francisco Bay Area as our newest partner charity.
We are also happy to continue our relationship with grants to sponsor ten families for United Playaz Thanksgiving and Christmas events and Food Shift's Social Enterprise Kitchen. Learn more on our Partner Charity webpage.
Our thoughts and prayers remain with Susanna Twaite, founder and leader of Wrap the Kids, who earlier this year was diagnosed with colon cancer. With Susanna fighting her biggest battle of her storied life. We are hopeful she can win her battle and we will once again come together to help those in need.
