Our 2025 Highlights and Impacts

In 2025, the foundation continued to make meaningful strides—growing our overall giving, increasing fundraising revenue, and expanding the average size of our grants. This year also marked a pivotal shift in how we approach impact, as we began shaping collaborative grant projects designed to strengthen the capacity and capabilities of our partner organizations. We also continue to improve our engagements with our supporters and charity partners to strengthen communication and deepen our shared understanding of the work we do together.

In 2025, our total giving reached $70,700, representing an 8% increase compared to 2024; revenue increased slightly by 2 percent; and grant sizes increased by 12 percent. Our corporate matching returned to pre‑2024 levels, following a year in which we were able to benefit from several one-time matching opportunities.

We especially thank all of you, our supporters for helping make 2025 our most successful year to date. We are inspired and deeply grateful, knowing that our work would not be possible without your support. Every contribution—whether time, resources, or partnership—strengthens our ability to serve our community with purpose and compassion.

We look ahead to 2026 with anticipation as we continue to explore, learn, and strengthen our giving, fundraising, and engagement efforts. To keep pace with our growth, the team is in process of implementing system upgrades designed to improve data management and streamline operations. We also will be evaluating our two 2025 collaboration grants to determine their effectiveness and feasibility, especially when the collaboration is between two competing organizations.

2025 has shown us, once again, the profound impact of collective giving, the power of collaboration, and the strength of a community united by a shared vision and mission. It is a humbling reminder that meaningful purpose is never achieved alone. As we step into 2026, we are looking forward to building Red String as we continue our learning, expanding our growth, and deepening our impact.
