Our 2026 Fundraising Season Is Here

May marks the start of one of our favorite times of the year — the season when our community comes together to lift up at‑risk youth, support low‑income families, and care for homebound elderly across the communities we call home. Fundraising isn’t just a line item for us; it’s the engine that powers every grant we award, every program we strengthen, and every neighbor we’re able to reach.

When we created Red String, we envisioned a different type of philanthropic organization. Whereas most private foundations are inwardly run and funded, we wanted to create a more inclusive organization by forging meaningful relationships, galvanizing action toward our mission, and inviting all who are willing to our cause.

Our fundraising efforts are part and parcel of this vision. They’re not just events on a calendar — they’re opportunities for people to step into the story with us, to be part of our mission, and to strengthen the communities we all share.

This year, we’re excited to kick off our 2026 Fundraising Season with two cornerstone events that bring our mission to life in joyful, community‑driven ways.

🌼 April 22 - May 2: Our Online Charity Auction

Our annual spring auction is officially underway, offering a curated collection of experiences, gifts, and one‑of‑a‑kind items — all donated by generous supporters and local businesses who believe in the work we do. Every bid directly supports Red String’s Grants Program, helping local nonprofits provide needed services and programs and unity in the communities they serve.

Whether you’re browsing for something special or simply want to support the cause, your participation makes a meaningful difference.

⛳ September 21: Swing for String Golf Tournament

Later this fall, we’ll gather once again for our annual Swing for String Charity Golf Tournament, a day filled with friendly competition, community spirit, and purpose. This is our 4th year for the tournament and is quickly becoming a beloved tradition — a chance to enjoy the outdoors, connect with fellow supporters, and raise vital funds for the year ahead.

Our 2026 tournament will be at the Meadowlark Golf Club in Huntington Beach on Monday, September 21. Registrations and Sponsorships are now open.

Early Bird Special: Register or sponsor before August 1 and you will be entered into a drawing for a round of golf for four with carts at Meadowlark Golf Club (a $260 value).

From sponsorships to foursomes to volunteering to help, there’s a place for everyone.

Why Your Support Matters

100 percent of all proceeds from these events goes directly into our Grants Program, which funds local public charities working tirelessly to:

  • Improve educational and life outcomes for at‑risk youth

  • Help low‑income families move toward greater self‑sufficiency

  • Support homebound elderly so they can remain active, healthy, and secure

Your generosity fuels real change — not in abstract ways, but in the daily lives of people right here in our community.

Join Us This Season

As we step into another year of impact, we invite you to take part in whatever way feels right for you: bidding, golfing, sharing, sponsoring, or simply spreading the word. Together, we can make 2026 our most impactful year yet.
